Same shit different bucket!

As the title says, its all a bit of a case of same shit different bucket at the moment! Cracked on with 6-max although FT just wants to beat on me over and over! I managed to blow 7 buy ins with every manner of beat it seemed and even went over some of the hands with Lex to see if he thought I was doing anything particularly wrong. It seemed not so I crack on.
I did have to wait until I got some more rakeback though as 7 buy ins was my entire roll lol. I did eventually get back to the tables though and was going ok until I got it in pre-flop with a villain that I had had a bit of to'ing and fro'ing with. He flips over his KQo and I flip my AK to feel pretty confident...you know what happened! ;) I had previously stacked him with my jacks but this time around he managed to get lucky and it pretty much decimated me as he had built a short stack up to have 75% of my stack when it happened. I did manage to almost get even before I quit though. I had another table open on iPoker and sat a table where 5 of us seemed to be playing much the same kinda stats but had one 80% vpip guy at the table who limped every hand, called every raise and went to the river calling all the way with me on a couple of hands. I managed to stack him when he limp called my 4x raise with fives. I hit my set on the flop, pot bet, call, quads on turn. I think I made a crappy weak looking little bet which he called. I did the same on river and he raises me, I reraise him all in and he calls, tyvm :)

It looks like I am not going to have to fork out for another years subscription for PT3 as it seems they have decided not to charge again for this version, which I guess means that PT4 is on its way? However, that suits me fine as what I have will do me. So that means I have some spare cash set aside that I'm now thinking of buying a 19" 4:3 monitor so I can 4-table without overlaps, which I think I should be able to do as FT allow you to resize their windows. Does anybody know for sure if this is possible on a 19" 1280x1024 resolution monitor? I am looking on ebay, although if anyone wants to get rid of one I might be up for that too. I am giving the PT3 thing a few extra weeks just to make sure and I will probably go for it then.

In real life, not too much happening. Have the run up to Xmas now so sorting stuff out with and for kids. My eldest lad told me he has the all clear to come over on boxing day so we can go watch the mighty reds, so need to get to sorting tickets out. Anybody got any good avenues for getting tickets...Defty? NoCash? Anybody? No? I better hit the phones hard when they are released then if not.
The birds birthday cost me a few quid and we went out on Friday night. We decided to go out in my home town which I dont do very often as, frankly, it has been a bit of a shit hole for a few years now. However they have been building a "cultural quarter" and encouraging bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants etc.... all to relocate there and there are some pretty good bars now. We went to a new one at the weekend and I really liked it. Have to wonder if I am ever going to stop looking at other birds and thinking about doing the dirty...maybe I just have to accept that that is the way I am wired. If she ever see's this I will be fucked....and not in a good way lol. Still, I suppose the point is I may think about it but as long as I dont actually do anything about it it's all fine, isnt it??!
